Travel Magic Forest
Spring 2012 GamesIn "Travel Magic Forest", the player arranges road pieces on a 3x3 grid to form paths between an assortment of odd characters (a witch or fairy, a frog, a cat, etc.) and other items in the magic woods (an unusual tree, magic books, etc.). Four levels of logic puzzles tell which paths must be formed and which paths must be prevented. Especially at the starter level, many paths are possible, allowing for creative solutions (though only one solution is provided, so this is not always as satisfying as finding the one and only correct answer) and yielding puzzles that are genuinely easy and encouraging for beginners. As puzzles advance they require somewhat more determination, and the solution ends up requiring as much luck as logic. The game is compact, with book and game board integrated and all pieces magnetic, making it ideal as a take-along for a wide range of ages.
