Zip Zap
Spring 2012 GamesZip Zap is a fast-paced card game for 2 to 4 players ages 6 and up. Everyone gets a handful of cards to begin. Whoever has a card showing the next number card in the sequence of the color in play may discard. Some number cards have a wild color palette, and these can be discarded on any color. Every player gets a Zap card, which they can strategically play to reset the number sequence. For example, a player could discard their Zap card on top of a yellow 7 card, That player could then change the suit to red by playing a red 6 card. Players race to be the first to discard every card in their hand during each round. Losers gain points for each card left in their hand, and the player with the lowest score at the end of several rounds of play wins.
