Mario Kart 7 for the Nintendo 3DS perfectly combines favorite Nintendo characters such as Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach and Bowser with a challenging, yet easy-to-understand, racing game. Children can choose to play as their favorite characters or even as their Nintendo Mii avatar in either 2D or varying degrees of 3D. The game features a variety of racing courses, vehicles, accessories and items to collect; this variety, which adds the games longevity, is further increased by the game's ability to be played locally with nearby players or via the internet in 8-player worldwide matches. The Nintendo 3DS' StreetPass and SpotPass functions allow players to connect to other Nintendo 3DS systems and to connect to internet hotspots. Once again, Nintendo has created a game simple enough for younger players, engaging enough for older players, and just downright fun for everyone.
